We at Otford are well aware of all the benefits that being outdoors has on children's wellbeing and development. We are therefore keen to make the most of opportunities for children to explore, learn and play together outdoors, developing a range of knowledge and skills as well as hopefully cultivating a love of nature and outdoor activity. We recognise that all our children have different learning styles and believe that being outdoors naturally inspires children and provides increased opportunities for success. This section of the website aims to demonstrate some of the different ways in which we try to take learning outdoors, whether through curriculum-linked activities, orienteering, Forest School (historic photos/news below) or whole school initiatives. Adventure is out there!
