Virtual Sports Day!

We are fast approaching the time of the year that the children would normally take part in their Key
Stage Sports Days. Due to these unusual times, the normal format of Sports Day will not be possible, however we would still like the children to take part in an adapted version.

The Year 6 children are planning some physical activities for all children to take part in both at school and, for those not currently in school, at home during the week beginning the 6th of July. The Year 6 children, who have permission for this, will video themselves demonstrating how to complete each activity and these videos will be up loaded onto the School Dojo for all children and parents to access by Friday the 3rd of July.

Children who are currently at home should then complete the activities by Friday 10th of July and send their results to their class teacher via Class Dojo along with photos if possible. The children who are currently in school will complete their activities in their hubs at school during the same week with teachers taking photos for the parents to see via their Class Dojo.

To fully adhere to government guidelines, a virtual sports day is our only option this year.

Thank you in advance for your support in making this year’s Sports Day activities fun and accessible for all children.
