Children in KS2 were invited to apply to become a School Mentor. The children needed to be positive role-models and demonstrate excellent learning behaviours. The enthusiasm shown for this role was over-whelming and reflective of the number of wonderful learners we have.
So far this term they have supported younger children on the playground as well as in class with their reading and spelling. They have also provided teachers with a helping hand preparing for afternoon sessions.
Thank you for this peer-mentoring and for giving up some of your lunchtimes to improve our school. I look forward to working with you and developing your role further!
